IT Specialist (NETWORK)

Major duties: Serves as an IT Specialist (Network), GS-2210-12, in the Contingency IT Operations Division, Enterprise Service Delivery (ESD) Directorate, DLA Information Operations. Performs various duties associated with Information Technologies (IT) plans, proposals, acquisition and maintenance. Develops, implements, and ensures compliance with plans, policies, standards, infrastructures, and architectures that establish the framework for the management of all IT programs. Provides agency level expertise covering a wide range of Information Technologies (IT) and telecommunications, systems development and institutionalization of policy and methods. Serves as an Information Technology (IT) Specialist responsible for the planning, installation, maintenance, modification, and operation of all local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) data communications equipment.
