Major duties: Implement policies to ensure regulatory compliance with governing federal agencies. Oversee the preparation, analysis, reconciliation, consolidation and submission of financial reports to ensure regulatory compliance. Apply a wide range of budget and cost policies, concepts, practices, and principles in order to analyze and develop recommendations for improvement in operations and program objectives. Provide analytical support to senior management or executives by performing special audits, studies, or reviews to determine reliability and accuracy of business operations. Identify weaknesses and problems and develops recommendations for revisions or modifications to existing systems to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and economy. Evaluate/analyze internal control systems' effectiveness, adequacy, and interrelationships within the automated financial system and corrects deficiencies.
