FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as a Financial Management Analyst and Agency Program Coordinator (APC) for the Government Travel Card (GTC) Program. Responsible for auditing travel vouchers for JTR compliance and monitoring account records to ensure timely funds execution. Major duties: Performs a wide variety of accounting, financial management, auditing, and administrative functions within the Finance and Accounting Branch. Analyze financial performance trends and develop process improvements to enhance the performance of the travel program. Audit and analyze civilian payroll and travel card financial transactions. Interprets accounting guidance, policies and regulations, and implements them accordingly. Assists in providing financial advice and recommendations based on law, regulations, and professional knowledge of financial management practices. Serves as the Agency Program Coordinator administering the Government Travel Card Program, audit travel vouchers for regulatory compliance, and maintain surveillance over financial management records to ensure the accurate execution of funds.
