Program Analyst (Data Analyst)

This position is in the the Office of the Chief Technology Officer within the Executive Director (EX) office of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS/EX/CTO). Major duties: Analyzes program data with SQL, SAS, Power BI, Tableau and similar tools to test hypotheses, predict outcomes and inform decisions. Presents findings and their limits in written and visual products that tie back to the bureau's mission and goals. Reviews laws and regulations, including changes to them, to judge how they affect program operations. Tracks contractor performance against contract requirements and program goals, reports risks and issues to the supervisor, and recommend solutions. Reviews administrative processes, finds inefficiencies, and recommends improvements, including automation.
