Accounting Technician

This position is located in the Finance Department of the Tennessee Valey Health Care System in Murfreesboro Tennessee. Major duties: ***THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL POSITION, YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF THE DUTY LOCATION*** Major duties include but are not limited to: Reviews and approves all receiving reports. Audits payment documents received. Performs comprehensive audits, analysis, evaluations and related procedures for the purchase card system as required. Examines credit memos and reclaims from venders to determine appropriateness. Actively directs and performs research of current accounts, historical data, source documents, etc., to develop and explain detailed information not otherwise readily available. Assists in training of personnel. Responsible for issuing bills of collection when necessary. Performs other related duties as assigned.
