IT Specialist (Customer Support)

About the Position: This position is located at Fort Polk, Louisiana. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. Major duties: Operates a variety of system software, hardware and information technology. Modifies configuration and assignment of equipment to communication on Local Area Network to better serve organization. Addresses technical functions and trouble tickets involving Medical Information Technologies. Provides technical advice and assistance to computer personnel regarding system software functions, uses, capabilities, and hardware limits. Coordinates the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of business-related hardware and software systems.
