Supervisory Systems Accountant

This position is located in the Bureau of The Comptroller and Global Financial Services, Global Financial Operations Directorate (GFO), Office of System Controls and Configuration (SCC) in Charleston, South Carolina. (GFO) provides financial guidance and services worldwide in accordance with the statutes, regulations, policies, and procedures established by the central financial management agencies of the Federal Government. Major duties: Establish and maintain accounting systems and policies by planning, organizing, managing, and coordinating accounting and analytical operations and activities. Participate in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures and resolves accounting operations and systems-related issues. Exercise supervisory authority by directing subordinate staff, establishing goals/objectives, allocating resources, assigning work, performance management, recruitment, and financial reporting advising.
