Industrial Engineer

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range & Test Facilities Bases (MRTFB) in DoW to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: You will work as an Industrial Engineer at Tobyhanna Army Depot. Major duties: Perform a multi disciplinary engineering role by applying industrial and mechanical engineering principles within an industrial production environment. Provide technical direction to ensure execution of complex engineering projects involving development of advanced process technology, equipment, and control techniques used in electronics production and repair. Execute engineering tasks either independently or as part of a project team to design, modify, fabricate, install, and operate equipment and facilities supporting fabrication and production operations. Lead engineering projects by planning and conducting complete, often specialized, efforts as the principal engineer. Review engineering designs and project work of lower grade engineers for adequacy and compliance with standards.
