SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the Assistant Chief Engineer for Submarines (Code 244B), Office of the Chief Engineering (Code 240), Engineering and Planning Department (EPD) (Code 200) of of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Major duties: You will serve as the Assistant Chief Engineer for submarines and directly supervise others. . You will be responsible for managing performance, administration, and coordination of all submarine work with other division heads in the department. You will participate in top-level shipyard management meetings, conferences, and committees with other departments in the shipyard as well as external stakeholders. You will support NAVESEA Business Policy performance initiatives to support NNSY's objectives. You will provide technical oversight and assign work based on priorities, assignment difficulty, and employee capabilities.
