Information Technology Product Manager

This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Information Technology (OIT), Application Management Group (AMG). As a Information Technology Product Manager, GS-2210-14, you will serve as a senior technical authority and strategic leader, providing expert-level consultation, technical oversight, and cross-functional leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of products for CMS Components. Major duties: Serve as a technical authority and recognized expert on product lifecycle execution using modern solutions for product delivery. Lead cross-functional teams including designers, software engineers, data scientists, and architects to deliver products and services in an iterative manner meeting mission and user needs at enterprise scale. Conduct and oversee market and user research activities including development of user personas, competitive analysis, and synthesis of qualitative and quantitative feedback into actionable product requirements. Serve as the primary liaison between OIT's Application Management Group and senior business stakeholders, program offices, and external partners. Contribute to the development of organizational policies, procedures, and standards related to product management and IT systems analysis.
