Software Engineer

About the Role -------------- Join a team building AI-powered research products. You will ship polished, customer-facing features and help make product experiences reliable and consistent at scale. What You'll Do -------------- * Build user interfaces for research traces and other product experiences. * Turn team-wide processes into reusable skills and shared practices. * Debug client and server state connectivity to improve consistency. * Define data models that standardize API contracts. * Triage issues and conduct root cause analysis to support product stability. What We're Looking For ---------------------- * Two to five years of full-stack product engineering experience, including frontend work. * Experience shipping end-to-end customer-facing web features with React and TypeScript, along with the APIs and services behind them. * Experience with Go in production is a plus, as is familiarity with Postgres, Redis, PubSub, RPC, S3, and Temporal. * Experience building and operating high-traffic products in production, with distributed systems experience a plus. * A track record of owning projects and expanding scope, plus clear communication of complex technical concepts to peers. * Strong engineering fundamentals and a focus on shipped work and product impact. Compensation & Benefits ----------------------- Base salary: $200,000 to $280,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available. Location -------- On-site in San Francisco, California, United States.
