LEAD CONTRACT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a LEAD CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the Contracting Office (400) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Major duties: You will lead and execute a wide range of contract specializations, such as acquisition planning, cost/priced analysis, negotiation, and administration. You will perform price and cost analyses and prepare negotiation positions using technical analysis. You will train or arrange for the training of team members in methods and techniques of team building and working in teams to accomplish tasks or projects. You will prepare reports and maintain records of work accomplishments and administrative information, and coordinate the preparation, presentation and communication of work-related information to the supervisor.
