ACCOUNTANT

Major duties: You will serve as an ACCOUNTANT in the FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT DIVISION (N8) of the NAVY RESERVE REGION READINESS and MOBILIZATION COMMAND (REDCOM) COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT located in EVERETT, WA. You will plan and conduct internal reviews and surveys of financial, operational, and functional activities. You will coordinate financial improvement and audit readiness (FIAR) requirements and initiatives in support of Department of the Navy audit readiness goals. You will interpret and apply policies and procedures issued by ASN (FMandC), DFAS, CNRF, and other higher headquarters. You will draft audit and review reports identifying findings, causal factors, risks, and recommended corrective actions.
