CONTRACT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a Contract Specialist in the Contracting Department of NAVSUP FLC PEARL HARBOR. Major duties: You will advise and guide technical representatives on anticipated procurement requirements and provide technical input into the development of statements of work and specifications. You will develop contracting strategy, determine milestones, and prepare documents, ensuring the clarity adequacy and completeness of the documentation. You will Review justifications for sole source and other issues requiring higher-level clearances. You will conduct conferences, solicit, receive, and analyze proposals for responsiveness and acceptability, answer inquiries, develop negotiation strategy, conduct negotiations with contractors for prices, terms, conditions. You will negotiate prices, terms conditions, and schedules. Prepare business decisions documentation, and prepare contractual actions for awards.
