The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a senior Information Technology (IT) Specialist with responsibility for designing, writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining complex applications software that meets functional requirements. Major duties: 1. Performs analysis of complex user requirements and designs programs to support them. 2. Serves as a team leader in assigned applications programming/analysis projects. 3. Troubleshoots and resolves complex application problems. 4. Manages acquisition of IT assets and prepares supporting software system documentation.
