IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INET/INFOSEC)

Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) mission is to lead the Department of Defense (DoD) in finance and accounting by ensuring the delivery of efficient, exceptional quality pay and financial information. Major duties: Develops plans, schedules, and estimates resource requirements to deliver web products. Ensures all users have security clearances and access authorization and are aware of their cybersecurity responsibilities for DoD Information System (DoD IS) and Platform Information Technology (PIT) systems. Collects systems data and conducts analysis, designs web pages, creates site content, and prepares programming specifications based upon customer need and source of data. Tests, debugs, modifies and validates web information before releasing the product to the customer. Planning the design, development, testing, implementation, and management of Intranet and Extranet activities, including systems/applications, development of Web pages and identification/research of new web technology.
