CONTRACT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a CONTRACT SPECIALIST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. Major duties: You will serve as the contractual authority on the acceptability and applicability Of contractual matters related to new and mature Weapons Systems that have unique and complex logistics support challenges. You will perform or direct in- depth cost and price analyses as well as evaluations Of the financial and technical capabilities Of the potential suppliers, public and/or private. You will apply experimental theories and emerging contracting techniques, solves logistics problems, and takes maximum advantage of alternate support opportunities. You will develop policies and procedures for the work because Of the innovative and unique aspects of the acquisitions.
