Industrial Specialist

Major duties: Develops and carries out plans for the expansion, conversion, integration and/or utilization of industrial production facilities to meet strategic or mobilization requirements or to strengthen the effectiveness of the industrial base. Conducts surveys of industrial plants to evaluate capacity and potential for production of specific commodities. Evaluates existing industrial surveys and market analysis to determine industry capability to meet DLA (requisition) and surge requirements. Performs product and industry research and assessment, develops evaluation plan proposals/recommendations to meet survey objectives. Analyzes a particular type of industry or various industries with respect to industry operational history, demand, products, and capability.
